The story revolves around miser parents (Bank Janardhan and Satyabhama) who want their son (Jaggesh) to marry a rich girl, for dowry. But the son ends up marrying a poor girl, antagonizing his parents. How son changes his parents outlook forms rest of the story. Santosh is the son of Parandamaiah Urbagal (Bank Janardhan) and Subbalakshmi (Satyabhama), who are staunch misers. Parandamaiah owns a shop, called 'Oorubaglu General Stores'. Santosh likes to keep the shop as he loves Sangeetha, daughter of Shankar Shastry, a musician, whose house is opposite Santosh's shop. Santosh spends his time sightseeing (the subject is mostly Sangeetha) and he is hostile towards costumers when he is sightseeing (he calls it 'Dove Hodiyodu', one of his popular dialogues). His friends - 'Chitke' Seena, Raja, 'Razor' Manja, Nanja and 'nanjappan maga' Gunjappa. They help Santosh to gain Sangeetha's affection. However, Parandamaiah and Satyabhama decide to marry Santosh to his uncle's daughter Sundari for dowry. However, Santosh disagrees to marry any girl for dowry as he wants his wife to be the love of his life. Santosh succeeds in marrying Sangeetha by hoodwinking his parents. Later, with the help of his friends, he starts to enjoy his married life. But, Parandamaiah and Satyabhama decide to cheat Santosh and create a feud between Santosh and Sangeetha. They make Sangeetha assume that Santosh is having a sexual relationship with Sundari. Meanwhile, they make Santosh assume Sangeetha is having an extramarital affair. Santosh investigates this and he assumes that Sangeetha is having an affair (the assumed boyfriend was paid by Parandamaiah). Due to this, Sangeetha goes back to her maternal home. Soon Santosh finds out about this, and, with the help of his friends, makes his parents realize that good values are more important than money. Later, after he makes his parents realise their mistake, his uncle finds that Sundari is pregnant. He allegedly accuses Santosh of impregnating Sundari. However, this is not the case as he had told his friends to loaf and flirt with Sundari to enlighten his parents. Later, Santosh arranges for the marriage of Sundari. in the climax, Santosh finds that Gunjappa had impregnated Sundari and he is forced to marry Sundari. Thus the movie ends on a happy note.

Spookiz is a Keyring animation, which follows the lives of Cula, Frankie and all their friends whilst at school.

Cula is a descendant of a royal Dracula family. He may seem cold-blooded and evil, but he actually wants to get close to others and become their friends. He has OCD and a complete neat freak! You may see him and his sidekick KongKong get up to no good, but he's a good soul really!

Frankie is a bit of a dull slowpoke, Frankie's appetite sometimes turns him into a bit of a monster! He grows a four-leaf clover on top of his head which is lucky charm. He's one of the kindest members of the Spookiz gang, but his appetite sometimes puts him in a foul mood if he is not full up!

Kebi is a free-minded soul and isn't one to stick to rules and formality. He's constantly energetic and bubbly and loves to tease Cula as much as he can. It is a friendly rivalry though as they truly are best buddies!

KongKong is Cula's sidekick KongKong is best described as weak to the strong and strong to the weak. He's very self conscious about his short height but by listening and trusting in Cula he feels safe and comforted.

Zizi shows gives off a stinking odour but she does not realise it. Body parts (mainly her head) often fall apart off her body, but are always easily placed back together on her. She has a secret crush on Cula and dreams of being with him always. She's incredibly shy around him and doesn't like anyone to know this.

Synopsis :
Sharath (Yash)is a fun loving guy who seldom has any friends because of his freakish attitude. He always lives his life as he wishes. One day he is selected to represent his college at the Global Business Seminar meet, as he is the topper of his university. As he enters the crowded auditorium he gets bored with the seminar and falls asleep. When his name is called upon, he is woken up by Swathi (Kriti Kharbanda) who is an MBBS student. Later he gives his hilarious speech and thanks Swathi for waking him up. By this meet, both of them become close friends and start to like each other.

Over a period of time, Sharath starts to suspect every act of Swathi. One day Swathi is injured, and things become more complicated when he misunderstands Swathi's friend to be her boyfriend at a hospital where she is undergoing treatment. As a result, Sharath gets annoyed and slaps Swathi. Unlike any guy who'll normally brood over his past girlfriend, Sharath takes this as a challenge and devotes his time to studies, and becomes a huge business tycoon within couple of years.

After few years, he realises his mistake of hurting Swathi and tries to reconcile with her by apologizing to her through a phone call on her birthday. He's hurt to hear that Swathi is getting engaged to someone. Later, he returns to India to attend his friend's wedding, and is surprised to see Swathi. Upon further conversation with Swathi, he comes to know that Swathi had lied to him regarding her engagement to get rid of him because she didn't have the mental strength to be heartbroken again if Sharath would leave her for the second time after reconciliation. Thus, he tries to win her heart again. Swathi later decides to reciprocate it but on their way back home some goons, who were beaten up by Sharath for separating two lovers, attack him. In the hospital, Sharath's mother scolds Swathi and she leaves heartbreakingly without informing anybody. Sharath manages to find her in train station with the support of the media. When she replies she had lost her purse, mobile and ticket in the station then Sharath tells her that in spite of going through so much pain to find her she is lamenting over the loss of a silly thing in a hilarious manner. They reconcile and the movie ends with the couple united.

Synopsis
Karthik (Aadi) and Swetha (Erica Fernandes) are a happily married working couple outside the house. They are like friends and fill their responsibiltes but not fill love. In a party they reveal that they do not love each other but their past lovers Parineethi (Kristina Akheeva) and Aarav Reddy (Rahul Ravindran), respectively. Thuppakki (transl. Gun) is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film stars Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal, with Sathyan, Vidyut Jammwal, Jayaram, Manobala and Zakir Hussain in supporting roles.

The film's soundtrack was composed by Harris Jayaraj with cinematography handled primarily by Santosh Sivan and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.

In 2014, the film was remade in Hindi as Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty by the same director starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.

Synopsis:
Twenty years after the incident at the Maanikaseri Kovilakam, several members of the family have now died, leaving behind Unnikrishnan Varma/Unni, his sister (Oppol) and his only daughter Arathi Varma. An atheist and rationalist, Arathi is a medical student who hangs around with her close friends Jithu, Titus and Gopi, who is also her lover. One day, the friends come across an ashram that is headed by Soumini Devi, a tantrik ritualist who specialises in dark spells and black magic. Arathi decides to test the authenticity of the claims of the ashram, so she is allowed to make contact with the soul of her deceased mother, Maya/Daisy, who died after childbirth. The soul further tells her about a bracelet that she intended to give her newborn daughter, made by her great grandmother, after Arathi would be born. Out of curiosity, Arathi searches of the bracelet, which leads to a forbidden temple that contained the evil soul of Ganga, the maid who was killed mercilessly by the male members of the Maanikaseri family decades ago. Arathi accidentally releases the soul, leading to several paranormal incidents in the house. Out of fear, the four friends decide to meet Meppadan Thirumeni, the exorcist who subdued the evil spirit previously, at his house but find out that he has died too. Eventually, they contact Soumini Devi, the estranged daughter of Meppadan, about the strange problems. Soumini Devi tells that it was the spirit of Ganga who was causing the current problems. She also tells them that after the spirit was exorcised from Arathi's mother's body, several members of the family died after Arathi's birth due to this spirit. So Meppadan used his tantric powers to imprison the evil soul, this time inside the family's temple and told the family members to not open its doors. The spirit was now targeting Arathi, intending to kill her on the new moon night of 31st July. Before that time, the spirit must be subdued. However, the spirit causes more trouble and eventually possesses Arathi. After this, Unni gets killed by the soul, thereby avenging for the actions caused by his ancestors leading to Ganga's death. Soon, an exorcism is arranged by Soumini Devi along with the help of Ananthan Thirumeni, the disciple of Meppadan. They successfully remove the spirit from Arathi's body before time, with Thirumeni promising her that the spirit would never come near her again. While Arathi and her friends leave home, Soumini Devi is attacked and killed by the spirit. The fate of the spirit as well as the family members affected by it, to this day remains unknown.

Movie Synopsis:

The story, the team and everything about this movie kept nothing but comedy in mind and have delivered what they promised -- a rip roaring comedy. They are invariably forced to bump into each other by their mutual friends Abbas and Sneha. Both help Abbas and Sneha to elope and get married. But finally Abbas misses his opportunity to go to Australia. So he finds his wife Sneha leaving him, in charge of the household chores. A frustrated Abbas goes to his friend Kamal for help to get back his upper hand over his wife. While Simran counsels Sneha not to submit to the authority of her husband. As both Sneha and Abbas are being brainwashed by their respective friends, it leads to a string of comic incidents.In one such event, Kamal who is a stunt master meets with an accident during a shooting scene. Simran being a doctor operates on Kamal, but commits the blunder of sewing her watch inside Kamal during the operation. With her profession and reputation at stake, she finds it difficult to pin Kamal down to the operation table and re-operate him. So she decides to play as the love-struck damsel and finally fetches the watch back out of Kamal. But Kamal who by now is smitten by Simran, is completely shattered when he learns about the truth. So he finally agrees to marry the girl his parents have arranged even as Simran is reflecting on her feelings for Kamal. Kamal excels in his role --as always. But Simran proves with her performance that she has more to offer than just being a glamorous heroine and deserves a definite applause. With this kind of a setting there is enough room for Mouli the director and script writer Crazy Mohan to set the ball rolling so fast that you have to be quick to assimilate all humor between the lines too.
