SYNOPSIS: After an incident at Dadar Railway Station, Mumbai's Police Commissioner Rajpal K. Sinha suspends bumbling police detective, Chatur Singh, but is compelled to reinstate him after no-one within his department wants to be assigned with the security of disgraced and arrested Agriculture Minister Y.Y. Singh, who, after feigning an illness, is hospitalized. Chatur and his deputy, Pappu Panther, accordingly attend to the hospital and screen everyone that goes to visit him, including his wife, Savitri, and Secretary, Sonia Verma. Shortly thereafter, Singh is assassinated, Sonia is arrested as a suspect and lodged in a cell and refuses to divulge any information. Chatur decides to let her escape so that he can follow her and find out who was behind this high-profile killing. Sonia does manage to escape but he is not quick enough to follow, and she ends up in Capetown.

Gowtham (Surya) and Vaishnavi (Jyothika) get married. Vaishnavi is a village belle and there is not pre-marriage love story between the two. Six years later these two are with their daughter Ishwarya (Baby Shreya) in Mumbai. The village belle ? Vaishnavi ? is shown as modern lady and working in Mumbai. Surprising how that small village girl could transform into such modern woman, albeit without evening knowing a single word of Hindi? only director Krishna would be able to answer the question.

Gowtham and Vaishnavi along with their daughter Ishwarya are an ideal family? typical modern family who share all the joys and sorrows amongst themselves. The wife sits with her husband in weekly drinking sessions (sic)! Into their family enters a storm in the form of a dairy written by Gowtham. The dairy brings out the flashback -

Gowtham during his college days was in love with Ishwarya (Bhoomika). Her father (Costumes Krishna) is a local MP. Gowtham and Ishwarya love each other and finally decide to get married at a registred marriage office. While he ties the thali, her father comes and bashes up our hero and takes away his daughter. In that dairy Gowtham writes that he would like to have spent at least one day with Ishwarya as husband and wife. This line affects our Vaishnavi and she goes in search of Ishwarya, brings her to Mumbai and asks her husband to spend one day with her? Now the story is all about what happens after they spend the day. Will Vaishnavi accept her husband back? Will Ishwarya after one day go back? Does Gowtham want Vaishnavi or Ishwarya or both of them? At the end it is the same story of legal husband and wife living together.

Ajay is a story about a young guy named Ajay who lives with his mother and sister in a village. The village is ruled by two evil brothers Raja Brijraj Singh and Chote Raja Ranbir. Rama their niece comes to visit the village. She is a brat and thinks too highly of herself, she belittles poor people. Once she goes river rafting and almost drowns, this is when Ajay comes to her rescue and saves her. He instantly falls in love with her, but she hates him as he is not of her stature. This love hate relationship blooms into undying love for each other. But Rama’s uncles are strongly against this relationship. Watch what will Ajay do for his love?

Karthikeyan (Arjun) is a photographer-cum-editor working in Indian Express. Chitra (Meena) is a bank employee. Both reside in Navi Mumbai. Karthik meets Chitra while opening a bank account. While returning home, Karthik again meets her in a train. He offers his seat but Chitra does not want to accept it. During a train strike he invites her to travel in an auto to reduce expenses, but she declines. When Chitra hesitated to travel in the same train with Karthik, he became angry and explained that he talked to her because both are from same area and he says he will never talk to her anymore. After some days Chitra volunteerily talks to him. Karthik, in return, accompanies her to a police station to get back her snatched handbag. Karthik invites Chitra to his home to meet his parents.

Karthik's parents like Chitra and all become friends. Karthik's mother requests Chitra to tell Karthik to get married. When she conveys his parent's wish, Karthik explains about his wife (Jothika) who died in a train accident. Karthik learns that Chitra's husband Srikanth (Ramesh Aravind) who died in the same train accident. Chitra adopted a boy, Shiva, per her husband's wish. Karthik's parents want them to get married.

Synopsis :- "The film starts with ACP Yashvardhan (John Abraham) in the hospital, recalling the accident that changed his life forever. Yash is a dutiful, responsible and stone-hearted police officer whose only passion in life is crime-fighting. He has no family or loved ones and has been alone in life since he can remember. Everything changes when Yash meets Maya (Genelia D'Souza), an independent and lovely woman. Though the two get off to a rocky start, Maya warms up to him once she realizes he is a police officer, and apologizes for the misunderstandings they had. When Maya gets hit by a car in front of Yash, he rushes her to the hospital. With that, the two bond and start to meet and go out regularly. Maya confesses her love to Yash, but Yash refutes her advances, as he does not want her to become his weakness in his professional life. However, Swati (Sandhya Mridul), the wife of Yash's coworker and friend, convinces Yash that he is in love with Maya as well and Yash decides to get married to her.
In the big drug case the unit is investigating, Yash, along with his co-mates, Mahesh Pande(Raj Babbar), Atul Kalseka (Mohnish Bahl) and Kamlesh, kill Reddy (Mukesh Rishi) while he is peddling drugs. Yash, Mahesh & Kamlesh are suspended for killing Reddy instead of arresting him. Reddy's heartless and aggressive brother Vishnu (Vidyut Jamwal) vows to avenge his brother's death by killing all of the officers, including Yash. Yash and the other officers prepare themselves for Vishnu, but Vishnu successfully intrudes into Mahesh's home and brutally murders him after raping his wife Rachana (Anaitha Nair). The event leaves Yash and the other officers shaken but Yash and Maya's marriage take place. Meanwhile, Vishnu decides to attack each of the officers' weaknesses; he kidnaps Swati, Atul's wife, and Atul is forced to tell him where Yash will be that night. Yash and Maya passionately enjoy their wedding night of love and bliss; however, this proves to be their first and last night together, as Vishnu and his henchmen invade the house and attack Yash and Maya the next morning.
Yash is fatally shot and Maya is kidnapped in the attack. Yash miraculously survives the attack. Vishnu tells Atul that he will release Swati if Atul kills Yash. However, Atul cannot bring himself to kill his friend and instead joins forces with Yash to execute a plan against Vishnu and save Maya and Swati. Yash, Atul and Kamlesh all go together to the place where Vishnu has been keeping Maya and Swati hostage and find, in horror, that Swati has already been murdered. In despair and heartbreak, Atul kills himself after seeing Swati's body. Out of the 4 police officers, only two are left now: Yash & Kamlesh. Yash and Kamlesh go together and face Vishnu in a final confrontation. Kamlash is shot but survives. Vishnu shoots Maya in front of Yash and drops her from the second floor. Yash catches her but is unable to save her. Maya assures Yash that she has gotten her wish of being with him and dies in Yash's arms. Anger and sorrow build up in Yash and he brutally finishes off Vishnu, exacting his revenge.
At the end, Yash is shown living alone again, having gone back to his professional life. Kamlash calls Yash and tells him that he has found a new informer. Yash turns to Maya's photo before leaving and says that he'll be coming home late tonight."

Malavalli Huchche Gowda Amarnath (born 29 May 1952), known mononymously by screen name Ambareesh, is an Indian film actor, media personality and a politician from the Karnataka state. Born and raised at Doddarasinakere Village of Maddur Talluk in Mandya District of Karnataka, he is fondly referred to as Mandayada Gandu (English: Man of Mandya).Following his debut in Puttanna Kanagal's National Film Award-winning Naagarahaavu (1972), his acting career commenced with a brief phase of portraying antagonistic and supporting characters in Kannada films. After establishing himself as a lead rebellion actor in a number of commercially successful films, he became synonymous with the term "rebel star"and has since continued to hold a matinee idol status in the popular culture of Karnataka state. He is widely revered as "Karunada Karna"(English: Karna of Karnataka) for his numerous charity works. Ambareesh was felicitated with the honorary doctorate from the Dharwad university in 2013 at their 63rd annual convocation ceremony.His grandfather was the popular violin player, Chowdiah. Ambareesh completed his schooling in Mandya. Ambareesh has since appeared in about 208 film since including other films of Kanagal such as Paduvaaralli Pandavaru,Shubhamangala, Masanada Hoovu and Ranganayaki,Antha. As in 2010, Ambareesh had acted in most films as lead in Kannada films, surpassing Rajkumar's record of 206 films as lead actor and Vishnuvardhan's record of 230 films (including Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films) as a lead actor. The record has not been broken yet. His other notable films include Ranganayaki, Tony, Rani Maharani, Olavina Udugore, Hrudaya Haadithu, Hongkongnalli Agent Amar, Mannina Doni and Odahuttidavaru. His performance in Masanada Hoovu, Elu Suttina Kote and the Malayalam film Gaanam were critically acclaimed. He also showed the great performance in mamateya madilu,elu sutinaa kote and mouna raga. He also acted with legend Rajkumar. He was the first Kannada actor to inaugurate the world famous Mysore Dasara festival organized by the government of Karnataka. He also won the Karnataka Government's Dr. Vishnuvardhan Award in the year 2011. Vishnuvardhan and Ambareesh debuted together in Nagarahavu under Putanna Kanagal's direction. From then they have been larger-than-life friends. They acted in Snehitara sawaal, Maha Prachandaru and Avala Hejje in the 80s. Again they came together in Diggajaru in 2000 and this film is remembered by their fans as their best. It had the memorable hit "Kuchikku, Kuchikku", a song about friendship featuring the two.

Vishnuvardhan (born Sampath Kumar 18 September 1950 – 30 December 2009), was an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Kannada cinema.He has appeared in over 200 films in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. He was called 'The Phoenix of Indian Cinema'. He made his debut in the 1972 film, Vamsha Vriksha, in a supporting role. The same year he played the lead role in Puttanna Kanagal's Naagarahaavu, and was recognized as the Angry young man of Kannada cinema. He has played a variety of roles in different genres.

Vishnuvardhan was born in Mysore to H. L. Narayana Rao and Kamakshamma. His ancestors are from Hallegere, Mandya district of Karnataka. His father was an artist, music composer and a scriptwriter who was known for his collection of musical instruments. His sister Rama was a Kathak dancer at the Mysore Palace. He had six siblings. He was educated first in Mysore's Gopalswamy School and then at Bangalore's Kannada Model High School. He attended high school and obtained a degree from National College, Basavanagudi, Bangalore
Vishnuvardhan married actress Bharathi on 17 February 1975 in Bangalore. They have adopted two children, Keerthi and Chandana. Vishnuvardhan started his career with the National Award-winning movie Vamshavruksha (1972) directed by Girish Karnad based on the novel written by S. L. Bhyrappa. His first lead role was in Naagarahaavu, directed by Puttanna Kanagal and based on a novel by T. R. Subba Rao. It was the first in Kannada film history to complete 100 days in three main theatres of Bangalore. In his 35-year career, he has played a variety of roles in more than 200 films.

S. P. Balasubrahmanyam is record-holder for having sung more than 40,000 songs in Indian languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. SPB's voice suited Vishnuvardhan, and people felt it was a perfect combination. He started singing for Vishnuvardhan in the 1972 film Naagarahaavu. Vishnuvardhan never missed any of the birthdays of S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. In every film of the actor, he had to sing couple of songs and Vishnu would insist. Balasubrahmanyam has sung all the five songs in his last Kannada film. Aptharakshaka and was awarded the Best Playback Singer Filmfare Award for the song Gharane Ghara Gharane. He dedicated his award to Vishnuvardhan. After Vishnuvardhan's death, Balasubrahmanyam paid tribute to him in musical nights and one such show happened in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

He started singing in movies occasionally and later went on to singing devotional songs for albums. The first song he sang was in the movie Nagarahole and he has recorded some duet songs with the notable legendary singers S. Janaki and P. Susheela. The first devotional album sung by him was on Lord Ayappa and the title of the album was Jyothiroopa Ayappa. His other albums were "Thayi Bhanashankari" (on goddess Banashankari) and Vishwapremi Ayappa. He also sang devotional songs on Dharmastala's Lord Manjunathaswamy, Malemadeshwara and Ranachandi Chamundi

He is also credited for being the only Indian super star who stayed away from acting the vicious acts of drinking, smoking and uttering swear words in all the roles he performed in his long spanning career of close to 50 years. At the age of 71, he was kidnapped from his farm house at Gajanur by forest brigand Veerappan. He was released after 108 days.
